KIT the kids out for a fraction of the cost at Worcester's nearly-new charity clothes sale.
Thanks to the Worcester and Droitwich National Childbirth Trust, parents can get their children high-fashion clothes at half the High Street prices.
A nearly-new sale of clothes, accessories and toys for babies and toddlers will take place at Perdiswell Young People's Leisure Club, Droitwich Road, this Saturday.
The event, intended to ease the financial strain on the average family, will also help raise money for the national charity.
Wendy Pickess, who co-ordinates the sales on behalf of the Worcester and Droitwich branch, said: "Parents always want the best for their children but many of them simply can't afford the latest must-have item on the market, as well as all the everyday clothes which an active child can get through. The cost of kitting out a child for the first five years can run to thousands of pounds.
"But on the other hand, parents don't want to dress their children in hand-me-downs. Our nearly new sales are the solution."
Mothers and fathers will be able to buy everyday clothes, such as vests, jeans and T-shirts, and will also be able to find coats and clothing for those special occasions, as well as lots of toys and other accessories.
The sale, with goods donated by local families and members of the National Childbirth Trust , offers parents a more economical alternative to buying new.
The sale will take place between 10.30am and noon.
