DROITWICH under-10s powered to a 35-10 win over Malvern after a stirring first half performance on Saturday.
Spa took control of the game from the start and began to exert pressure on their opponents, thanks to good work by Tom Flowerdew and Sam Philips.
Jo Ingle and Jon Nottingham carved open Malvern with slick passing and allowed Dan Hartwright to score a try.
The pace of Josh Turner and Harry Rees allowed John Ingafield and George Priddy to score touch downs. Bromsgrove under-7s improved throughout but lost to Kidderminster Carolians 2-0 over three matches.
The young Boars tied the series after recovering from a 35-5 defeat in game one. Samantha Ward grabbed Bromsgrove's try.
In the second game Ladi Abudu (2), Daffyd Rees and Johnathon Hawkins all grabbed tries as Bromsgrove drew 20-20. In the third match Bromsgrove were edged out 45-35 by Kidderminster.
Kaj Douglas, Harry Brown (2), Hawkins (2), Rees and Alistair Messore all grabbed tries for Bromsgrove in a high scoring match.
Droitwich under-15s go on their tour to Limerick in Ireland on Monday, April 10. The under-14s tour Cardfiff between April 14 and 17, while the under-13s tour Suffolk between April 14 and 16.
