FAIRFIELD Villa manager Paul Oakes has warned his players they are in for a tough match when they play Archdale 73 in the Worcestershire Junior Cup tonight (Wednesday, 7.30pm kick off).
Villa go into the match at Worcester City as favourites because of its lofty position in the Midland Combination Division One.
However, joint manager Oakes believes his side will be tested thoroughly.
He said: "Archdale are in a low position but they have games in hand on the teams around them.
"They're are going to give us one hell of a battle.
"We have to be prepared to work very hard if we are going to win the cup. We're coming to the business end of the season where every game is going to be hard."
Oakes has a fully fit squad to choose for the match.
It will be a case of top versus bottom in the Advertiser/Messenger Cup final on Sunday, April 2, at Redditch United (6.30pm kick off).
Star and Garter are flying high as joint leaders in Division One, while their opponents, Church FC, share the bottom spot with Ringspanners.
