BELBROUGHTON Primary School hosted the first Pyramid PTA Football Festival on Saturday and had a team make it all the way to the final.RED HOT: Belbroughton Bullets reached the final of the first PTA Football Festival. The Belbroughton Bullets team lost to Hagley Hurricanes in the inaugural tournament's final.
The festival was set up to provide healthy sporting competition in the Hagley schools area.
The Bullets started strongly as George Trimmer (2) and Jack McDonald scored in the 3-0 win over Hagley in their first game.
The team drew 0-0 with St Kenelms Primary School's side and then beat Clent 2-0 to book their place in the competition's final.
They were then edged out 1-0 by Hagley in a close fought match.
Hagley received the tournament's shield and will host the tournament in 2007.
