REDDITCH and Woodrush come face-to-face on Saturday for their long-awaited league game at Bromsgrove Road.
And the visitors will start the game in confident mood following their fine 22-3 defeat of basement boys Handsworth at the weekend.
The Birmingham side drew first blood with a penalty but Woodrush hit back with a Nigel Smith try and a brace of penalties and a conversion from Toby Smith to hand Matt Elwell's side a 12-3 interval lead.
Two tries after the break from Barry McGrann and John Board secured the points and left the Woodrush coach delighted with the display.
"We will be going in to the Redditch game as underdogs as we have not won over there for ages," Elwell said.
"We have a few players missing but will give it our best shot."
Woodrush won the league game at their base earlier in the season but came unstuck in the North Midlands Cup.
Saturday's game kicks off at 3pm.
Redditch suffered a 7-0 defeat at Tenbury on Saturday making victory over their neighbours on Saturday vital if they are to climb away from the foot of the table.
Coach Jimmy Griffin said the torrential rain did his side no favours at Tenbury.
"For large periods of the game we were camped on their line only to knock-on or drop the ball," Griffin said.
