EVESHAM fielded a full strength squad for Sunday's Under-7s encounter at Stow where again they made a poor start in the first of two games.
The home side dominated the first half and kept the visitors under pressure.
Evesham trailed at half-time and were glad of the break and they improved after the restart when they took the game to their Cotswold hosts.
Strong running from George Francis and Will Farrell began to pay dividends as Evesham pulled the score back but time was against them and the match was lost 8-4.
After a spirited start second time out with strong attacking play from Giovanni Capaldi and Marcus Harris, Evesham stormed into a commanding 5-1 interval lead.
They continued to hold Stow back with Lewis Cochrane and Ashley Allchurch defending the line and producing good ball for player of the match Matthew Wheeler to round off a 6-4 triumph.
