PUPILS at St Andrew's First School in Barnt Green took part in a sponsored skip to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
All the youngsters took turns to skip and have raised the magnificent sum of £1,050 to date. The foundation will receive 75 per cent of the cash, the remainder will be kept by the school to purchase equipment.
A spokeswoman for the school said: "Skipping is a good way to improve children's health and is just one of the ways the school encourages its pupils to lead a healthy lifestyle and look after themselves."
