CULINARY skills were put to the test during a Ready, Steady Cook-style charity challenge at Trinity High School.
Staff and students at the Easemore Road school cooked against the clock, raising money for a breast cancer charity.
Assistant headteacher Adrian Ward teamed up with Year 10 pupil Luke Price, while deputy head Bryan Allbut joined forces with Luke McKeon, also in Year 10.
Mr Albutt and Luke McKeon won the challenge, cooking up a dish of chicken with couscous and mushrooms.
The £100 raised will go towards the minimum sponsorship money required for other staff and pupils to take part in the Race for Life.
Head of technology Lucy Green said: "We are running in the race later in the year but thought that this would be a novel way to increase our donation. I am impressed with the skills of the contestants, perhaps they can take over the school canteen next."
