MJS Racing's riders started the season with a good workout in races held at Leamington's Victoria Park over the weekend.
The Bromsgrove based club sent out a strong team containing Chris Morris, Richard Deeley, James Cunningham and Vince Page, who made his debut for MJS.
After a strong first season competing in the Midlands and National Track Championships MJS will be aiming to build on that success.
In the opening race Page and Morris finished third and fifth respectively.
The second race finished with the leading bunch sprinting for the line, which saw Page end it in fifth place, while Cunningham was eighth.
Nick Walford started the season in the VC Sevale ten mile time trial at Kempsey and finished in a time of 23 minutes and 48 seconds.
Chris Morris came fourth in the gruelling Elizabethan 21 mile hilly time-trial in Shropshire on Sunday.
The team is gearing up for a busy April and the Herne Hill track meeting in South London over Easter weekend.
MJS's riders will be taking on Olympic gold medallist Bradley Wiggins at the tournament.
The event will be the start of the build up towards the Midlands and National Track Championships, which are held in July and October.
Manager Stefan Pearce said: "We have started later this season as our targets of the regional and national track championships are in July and October. However we have come out of the winter well and stronger than 2005 so it's looking like we will have another good season."
