A NEW transport scheme for residents in south Warwickshire is about to be launched.
Aimed at those who previously qualified for transport tokens, do not have access to a car, cannot use public transport because of mobility problems or live in a rural isolated area, Community Links is designed to help people stuck for transport.
Stratford District Councillor Gillian Goache said: "Residents who qualify for the scheme will be able to telephone to book their place, they will be picked up at their door, taken to where they need to go and brought back home against. There will be a small amount to pay."
Anyone who thinks they may qualify needs to call 01789 260122 to register.
