RONKSWOOD Spurs are among the front-runners for honours in Worcester League Sunday Division Two, and they moved a step nearer the title with a comprehensive 7-0 win against AFC Deers Leap.

Kevin Insall and Warren Joyce both scored twice, with Ricky Wise, Wes Ford and Dean McInally also on the scoresheet.

In the Premier Division, Trinity Lakes beat Colwall St James 4-2, and Mike Hartshorn and Mark Homer were on target for Arrow 2000, who won 2-0 at Nunnery Wood Sports. A brace from Gary Price gave Perrywood a 2-1 win at Blackpole.

Goals from Nigel Halion and Lionel Keitley gave Kempsey a 2-1 victory at Droitwich Spa. Exel Metro thrashed Martley Spurs 13-1 with Barry Hughes (four) and Samrik Sandhu (three) on form.

George Dalman scored four goals in Archdales' 6-2 win over Cutnall Green, whose goals scored were by Chris Marsh.

Ricky Hastings claimed a hat-trick, while Alan Moss and Steve Ballot hit a brace each as Westbury Celtic beat Dew Drop 8-3.

Other hat-tricks came from Plumbers Arms' Richard Green, in a 4-2 defeat of St John's Sports, and Chris White, in Worcester Juniors 4-1 win at Malvern Radar.

Craig Ellis hit two goals as Portobello beat Bringsty Sports 4-2. Shane Smith also scored twice as AFC Mazak won 4-1 at Callow End. Sporting Worcester's Mahmadoor Rahman bagged a brace, but his side lost 5-3 to CMB Sports. Dan Freeth (two) helped AFC Severnside to a 3-3 draw with Perowne Park Rangers.

On Saturday, Oliver Dyde and Alan Pennick both grabbed hat-tricks as VBL Sports beat Bromsgrove Corinthians 8-1.

Tolladine Sports won 6-4 at Pershore Manor Rovers, with Dean Taylor cracking a hat-trick and Daniel Harding-Hall adding a brace.

A single strike from Alex Genever gave Welland Athletic victory over Lamb & Flag and Phil Turpin netted twice for Hallow who shared eight goals with Hanley Swan. Stuart Harvey and Dean Drinkwater both bagged a brace as Powick won 5-3 at Martley Spurs.
