A TALENTED Droitwich gardener has said the slow start to spring will not stop her opening her garden in aid of charity.
Malley Terry (pictured) opens her 130ft Alexander Avenue home to garden lovers three times a year and has won awards, appeared in national magazines and on television for her fantastic displays.
But she said although spring is taking its time to arrive this year, visitors would still be in for a treat. "The garden is still showing all the signs of spring which is fantastic to see."
The garden will open all day on Sunday, April 2. Entry costs £2.50 and proceeds will go to charities under the National Gardens Scheme. Picture by Sam Furlong. 14598806
"The advantage of the weather being around three-weeks behind however, means crocus' and snowdrops are still out as well as all of the new bulbs and plants."
Mrs Terry opens her garden under the National Gardens Scheme, which sees hundreds of green-fingered people from across the country show their gardens off to the public in aid of charity.
Her Alexander Avenue garden will be open all day on April 2. Entry costs £2.50 and all proceeds will go to various charities under the scheme.
