RUNNERS of all ages are training hard to get ready for an annual charity fun run around Worcestershire.
The Crowle Gunpowder Plot 10k run and fun run have been scheduled for Sunday, May 28.
The events are so named because they pass nearby Huddington Court, one of the houses where the infamous scheme to blow up Parliament was hatched.
To give runners a chance to prepare for the run, a training session has been held in Crowle, near Worcester.
On the day of the race there will be a fun-day in the village with a barbecue, cakes and hot and cold drinks, stalls and a children's entertainment area.
Entry forms can be downloaded from www.crowle-online.co.uk or by calling race organisers on 01905 381353.
The entry fee for Athletic Association affiliated runners will be £7 and £9 for unaffiliated runners with an extra £1 charge for entries on the day.
