MARK Yates is looking for his Kidderminster Harriers side to build on their impressive 1-0 away win over high-flying local rivals Hereford United when they host play-off chasing Gray's Athletic tonight (7.45pm).
Harriers defied the bookies -- who were offering odds of 7-1 for Yates' team to triumph at Edgar Street -- on Saturday, and they will need to produce a similar performance if they are to get anything from Gray's.
The Essex-based side are seventh in the Nationwide Conference -- hot on the heels of Morecambe and York, who are four points ahead but have played three more games -- and have reached the final of the FA Trophy.
Grays beat Exeter 2-0 in the semi-final to secure a 3-2 aggregate win and a place in the final, where they will take on Woking.
Harriers were one of Mark Stimson's side's scalps on the way to the final, when a last-minute Aaron McLean goal at Aggborough secured a 1-0 win in the second round.
Despite the win over Hereford, Kidderminster are still 15th in the league after a disappointing campaign.
Wayne Graves is the only absentee for Harriers and Yates expects to name the same squad as Saturday.
Kidderminster assistant manager Neil Howarth has urged his players to avoid complacency tonight.
He said: "It was a great result for us at Hereford and we are looking to take that into the game with Gray's.
"But, that said, if we lose our next two homes games the win at Hereford counts for nothing, so we have to be fully focused on winning again.
"Jake Sedgemore is back in full training now. A couple of lads picked up knocks and bruises against Hereford, but nothing serious which will keep any of them out against Grays."
n West Bromwich Albion Reserves' game against Manchester United Reserves at Aggborough was set to take place last night after passing a pitch inspection.
However, with the surface being played on twice in two days after the recent spell of heavy rain, conditions underfoot may not be ideal for the Harriers and Grays players.
