RICHARD Bush and Martin Knight return to take charge of Worcester City's thread-bare pitch following the resignation of groundsman Stuart Lambert.
Lambert, a formerly at Worcestershire CCC, handed his notice in at St George's Lane to take up a new post at Royal Grammar School, Worcester.
The 23-year-old's departure followed stinging criticism of the St George's Lane playing surface from player-manager Andy Preece.
Martin and Bush, groundsmen at Worcester on two previous occasions, including a five-year spell, agreed to take care of the pitch until the end of the season.
"Stuart tendered his resignation last week," said City chairman Dave Boddy. "Richard and Martin have stepped into the breach.
"We will make a long-term decision at the end of the season."
