WORCESTER City central defender Barry Woolley has left the club.
The 26-year-old has failed to impress manager Andy Preece this season and is expected to join fellow Nationwide North Club Hinckley United. There he will link up with another former St George's Lane defender Carl Heeley.
Woolley signed for City from Ilkeston Town in August 2003 and has played 75 games for Worcester and scored seven goals.
Meanwhile, City chairman Dave Boddy is confident the club's season will soon start taking off.
"Apart from the Kettering game, I have not been unhappy with the performances," said Boddy. "What's been disappointing is that we have created a lot of chances and failed to take them."
