WORCESTER City captain Graham Hyde believes his side deserve more than a solitary point from their opening two league games.
The St George's Lane club are still waiting for their first win of the Nationwide North campaign after losing at Kettering Town before Monday night's stalemate with Hinckley United.
Former City ace Carl Heeley was sent off on his return but Worcester lacked inventiveness as they failed to punish 10-man Hinckley in front of an expectant 1,064 crowd.
Despite the slow start, the former Sheffield Wednesday and Hereford United midfielder has seen enough encouraging signs to predict an upturn in fortunes.
"With the points return, it has not been too good," admits Hyde. "But I think over the two games, we've been better than the point that we've got. I think we've deserved more.
"We are desperate to get that first win on the board, but it's early days. It's only been two games and we've created opportunities in both.
"If we keep playing like that, we'll do well. Now we must concentrate on tomorrow's game with Gainsborough."
