WORCESTER Warriors want to bring in a new player to fill the void left following the retirement of Ben Hinshelwood last week.
The Australian-born Scot quit professional rugby because of a persistent back problem and Warriors director of rugby John Brain is on the look-out for a replacement.
Hinshelwood was a valuable member of the Worcester squad, not least because he could operate at centre, wing or full back. Brain knows that he needs someone with a similar degree of versatility.
"It's just a question now of identifying the right person, but we would look to bring someone in," he said. "We'd look for a thirteen/wing."
Warriors are short of options in that area at the moment. Dale Rasmussen has only just returned to the squad after a knee injury and Gary Trueman is currently on the sidelines with an ankle problem.
