NOT only are Worcester City's FA Cup heroes the future star attraction to millions of BBC TV viewers -- they are going global-wide too.
In almost all four corners of the world, sports channels are paying up to screen live coverage of City's second round tie with Huddersfield Town.
Pencilled in the listings, Fox Soccer Channel is showing City to the USA public, while Star TV is streaming to television sets in India, Thailand and the Phillipines among other nations.
Russia and Malta are also takers for Worcester's monster financial clash on Sunday, December 4.
So Danny McDonnell, Chris Smith, Adam Webster and Leon Kelly will not only be cheered on by giant-killing supporters across the UK, but also soccer fans in Moscow, Michigan and Mumbai.
Publicity
It confirms for good that, not only financially but publicity and profile-wise, this is the biggest game in City's history.
On the domestic front, Worcester should not have too much trouble in the battle of the TV audience war.
Up against the FA Cup showdown at St George's Lane, BBC2 is screening Patrick Swayze's fantasy film Three Wishes, John Dimbleby hosts his current affairs show on ITV and Channel 4 presents a live in-concert performance from Girls Aloud. Surely City can win this contest!
Viewing figures averaged 2.4 million for the BBC-televised match between minnows Chasetown and League One side Oldham Athletic. It peaked at 3.2 million with a 27.6 per cent audience share.
Worcester officials are hoping more tune in as the club aims to reach the third round of the competition for the first time since the 1982/83 season.
The BBC have confirmed Ray Stubbs will present Match of the Day's coverage at the Lane, while Jonathan Pearce provides the commentary with former Crystal Palace ace Mark Bright.
A main gantry and commentary box will be constructed on the site of the old Brookside stand and a small studio for Stubbs and pundits will be situated on a small part of the Brookside terrace.
On the day, there should be a total of 70 staff involved in the BBC production crew, while 15 cameras will be situated in various different locations.
For such a high-profile occasion, City are hiring 50 stewards from an outside company with Football League experience, on top of additional police presence.
Policing and stewarding costs will be met by the extra gate receipts scooped as a result of the increased ground capacity from 4,006 to 4,500.
