SKIPPER Gavin O'Toole will definitely return for Saturday's home date with Merthyr Tydfil when Evesham United will be hoping for a winning end to what has been a topsy-turvy 2005.
Richie Robinson, who also missed Tuesday's 4-0 defeat because of suspension, is also likely to be recalled by Dave Busst who will need as many "scrappers" in his side if relegation is to be avoided.
"Richie will add a bit of bite to the side and that was sadly lacking today," the United boss admitted after the Cirencester reverse.
"Hopefully the result will act as a wake-up call. We were a bit nave and their players seemed to be far more aware of the situation that they find themselves in. There was no response from my players when they made it 2-0 and that was the thing that concerned me most."
Busst also lamented the changes forced on him but a reshuffle this weekend will hopefully get his side back on track.
"We just get a settled side together and then I am forced into three changes. I didn't like the way Kettering came in for Matty (Lewis) but when a club from a higher league offers a player the chance to play and the money's right then he is going to take it."
The United manager, himself, has been the subject of a move with managerless Hednesford Town understood to be interested in speaking to Busst.
However, the contracted Common Road chief, revealed that no approach had been made.
"I have heard nothing from Hednesford in relation to the manager's job. I did speak to them regarding bringing a player to the club but I know what's going on there and I won't be going."
There's a tough start to 2006 for the Robins with a visit to Twerton Park on Monday to face Bath City (3pm).
