THE next - and possibly the last - meeting of the parish plan steering group will be on Monday (March 27), at 8pm, at Old Mill House. Everyone is welcome. There will be discussion about the distribution of the bound copies of the plan and the delivery of the summaries to everyone at the beginning of April. There is also a proposed celebration, for all residents, of the completion of the project, which has been funded by the Herefordshire Partnership via the Small Project Fund. Copies will be available on request as CD-Roms, large print or bound copies (for £5). Please let Fanny know what you would like on 640745.
A few tickets are still available for the concert on Saturday organised by Margaret and Bryson Garlick in memory of their daughter Debs, who was so tragically killed in Thailand. The on-going fundraising is for building new fishing boats, three of which have already been given to the villagers. The music will be very varied, including vocalists, string quartet, cellist and dancing by local sixth-formers. Only a very few tickets are left for the concert, which starts at 7.30pm - for more call the Garlicks on 635070.
There will be a Lent lunch in the hall on Thursday (March 30), between 11.30am and 1.30pm with home-made soup and bread and cheese. The donation of £4 will go towards the Ledbury Deanery's Mtwara Link. For information call Jane Allsopp on 635277.
