THE sights and tastes of Turkey were the attraction at the Church Rooms in Upton on Saturday.
As part of the Church in the Community series of events, Eleanor Grigson talked about her visit to the country.
She was a member of a tour organised by Malvern's Rev Julian Charley, visiting religious sites in Turkey. These included the seven churches mentioned in the Book of Revelations.
After the travelogue, the guests dined on Turkish food prepared by Eleanor, Barbara Morgan, Julie Turner and Jan Davies. Dishes included meatballs with mint sauce, cous cous, clay-pot stew and imam bayali, accompanied by apple tea.
