UNIVERSITY of Worcester netball first and second teams have clinched top three positions in the British Universities Sports Association League.
The first team played nine games, winning six and losing three, narrowly missing out on second place to University of Birmingham by goal difference.
Four victories from the second team, with one game deferred, and four losses comprised the sides nine matches as they finished third overall.
The university's four teams enjoyed a bumper membership this season of social and competitive members alike and high hopes for the next season are left in the capable hands of a yet to be decided committee.
The first and second teams performed consistently, earning themselves third place in their respective leagues.
In addition, Jo-Anne Brennan, Liz Hopkins and Becky Sweet were selected to represent the England Universities squad for which Sweet has been picked for the team of 12 who play on April 11, 12 and 13l in Cardiff.
