MALVERN Joggers made the trip to Stafford for a half-marathon race on Sunday.
Seven of the team completed the 13.1 mile road race, including four of the club's London Marathon entries.
The race was won by Chris Hollingshead (Cannock AC) in 1.12.14. First Jogger home was Mark Cusack, who ran a very respectable 1.30.05 for his first attempt at the distance.
Marathon trainee Stuart Brown was just one place behind Cusack, finishing in 153rd place in the field of 1,230.
Another London Marathon hopeful, Peter Wilson, was close behind Cusack and Brown. His time of 1.31.09 gave him 169th place, with Jerry Greer a further nine minutes back in 398th place.
Of the Jogger's three women in the race, Julie Caseley and Sam Hammond crosssed the line close together in 1.55.53 and 1.55.56 respectively. Alison Chaundy came in at 2.17.53.
