MALVERN Girls' College student Charlotte Allan, 18, has just returned from Edinburgh where she played for the second year running for the England A Lacrosse team.
She was made vice-captain for the match and was asked to make the captain's speech for the trophy, as the captain had to leave early.
The England team played Wales first and won 25-7. A very short break followed before playing Scotland, where they won 16-9.
Charlotte has also received confirmation from Bristol University offering her the vice-chancellor's scholarship for students with exceptional sporting talent. This will enable her to join the advanced performance squad and provide her with £3,000 a year.
Charlotte said: "It was a brilliant experience and I am looking forward to playing for England again over the next few months."
