FLORAL ART SOCIETY: The Offenham Floral Art Society held a very enjoyable meeting on March 1. The demonstration was excellent, with top quality flowers beautifully arranged, which were later raffled, to the delight of the six winners. The two competitions were won by Mrs C Parkinson and Mrs P Canning.
Subs are now due of £14 (over 60s £12), per year. Visitors are charged £3.50 a meeting. The society is staging an exhibition in Evesham Library for the month of April, to be entitled Flowers Through the Seasons. This will be followed by the open night to be held at Evesham Arts Centre on Wednesday, May 3. This event will feature a double demonstration by well-known demonstrators Bob Harris and Andrew Lloyd. Tickets, priced £7, are available from Mrs C Parkinson by calling 01386 832007. They are going fast so do not. The popular home-made cakes stall will also be there, along with other stalls.
