Despite the low temperatures, a lot of people turned up to fish, and were rewarded with quality catches.
Various techniques proved effective, with waggler and pole both used to good effect. Corn seemed to be the favourite bait, but pellet and maggot were also popular.
In the Sunday Open, Kevin Williams landed a perch weighing 3lb 7oz.
