WORCESTER residents who appreciate artistic innovation are invited to the SpeakEasyExperience at The Firefly, in Lowesmoor, on Monday night.
Fresh from Ronnie Scott's and the Jazz Caf, acclaimed lyricist and performer Vici Lowrence is the guest performer at the spoken-word forum - an event hosting a talented and eclectic mix of Midlands' wordsmiths and writers.
Highlights of the Midlands short-film showcase include Neil Oseman's Cow Trek, Matt Sandbrook's animated work, Coffee Shop Hell, The Rosary from director Edward L Dark and Grass Roots Media's production, The London Affair.
Interactive art comes courtesy of special guest, Siani Driver who is inviting guests to immerse themselves in an exhibition of her unique and challenging work.
There will also be the opportunity to talk informally to artists, poets, writers, animators and filmmakers.
Anyone who would like to have their say at the spoken-word forum - which starts at 8pm - or who has artwork they would like to exhibit, should contact Rachel or James at worcesterspeakeasy@yahoo.co.uk
