YOUNG visitors to Bewdley Museum can enjoy a feast of activities when it reopens for its new season.
A giant jigsaw, objects to touch and feel and spot the difference photographs are some of the new activities aimed at encouraging younger visitors to learn about the history of the area.
A bird box, fitted with a camera, has also been put up outside the museum and children will be able to watch its inhabitants on a television screen.
The aim of the activities is to give younger visitors a more "hands on" experience.
After getting involved they can claim their "I'm a Bewdley Museum History Detective" badge to take home.
The Friends of Bewdley Museum received a Heritage Lottery, Awards for All grant of £3,900 in December last year and it has been used to fund the activities.
The restoration work on the museum's roof is now complete and it will reopen on Saturday to join in with the Rediscover Bewdley weekend celebrations.
Period costumes from the museum archives will be on display for the first time and there will be strolling museums, face painting, storytelling and the new activities.
The museum also has a new look tea shop, which now has a small indoor seating area.
