IN CALMER weather conditions than of late, Evesham's experienced Division One player, Brian Campbell, shot a career-best gross 70 in the club's March Stableford.
Playing off six, Campbell amassed 44 points to win from Geoff Insall (40).
In Division Two, 45 points from youngster Ed Parn proved to be the winning score ahead of a good effort of 41 from Phil White. Both players have earned handicap reductions.
A charity bridge drive at the club raised £526 for Breast Cancer, the lady captain's charity for the year.
