A POET from Evesham was so eager to get down her latest poem she wrote it on her mobile phone.
Claire Pattison, from Bengeworth, picked the title for her poem, One Wish, from a collection of titles available for poets to choose from to be published in A Time to Rhyme.
Mrs Pattison who turned to writing poetry to help her ease the pain of her divorce nine years ago had her two poems, Failed, that appeared in Confessions of the Heart and, Goodbye Nan, published in Immortal Musings last year.
Her latest poem, One Wish, explores all the things a person desires such as money but then goes on to want a more peaceful world with an end to child abuse and cruelty.
Mrs Pattison said: "I don't know what inspired me to write this poem I just woke up in the early hours of the morning and thought I have to write down this poem. So I wrote it all down in my mobile phone."
Mrs Pattison's poem, One Wish, in A Time to Rhyme, a collection of poems, is available from most bookstores.
