A WOMAN in her fifties had her bag snatched as she pushed her bike along Bromsgrove Road on Monday at about 4.40pm.
The woman became aware of two teenage boys walking slowly behind her. She then felt a jolt on her bike and realised one of them had taken her black handbag out of a box fitted behind the saddle. It contained a purse, a small amount of cash, keys and a lunchbox.
The offenders, aged 14-16 ran off towards Batchley.
A police spokesman said: "We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who noticed these lads in the Bromsgrove Road area to give police a call.
"We also want people to be aware that this has happened and to extra vigilant themselves."
