THE Artrix is the place to be this week with an exciting array of entertainment lined up.

The Bromsgrove venue will host The Feinstein Ensemble on Friday as part of the Bromsgrove Concerts programme.

The group of eight specialist performers will play a programme entitled Blowing Up a Storm, featuring the music of Handel, Telemann and Vivaldi.

They will be followed on Saturday by a performance of The Mozart Requiem & Vivaldi's Gloria put on by Barnt Green Choral to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth.

Sunday will see The Allegri Quartet, again presented by Bromsgrove Concerts.

It's a perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day. Treat your mum to a champagne lunch followed by music and poetry with a programme including Shostakovich, as well as poetry readings by Richard Douglas Pennant.

And rounding off the week, NEW College performing arts students present The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Bertolt Brecht's most famous play, next Wednesday and Thursday.
