FOR the April meeting the club will welcome a new speaker, Les Henshaw from Derby, with a cine-film presentation entitled 'Railways in the Steam Age'.
Cine film presentations are always interesting with a lot of old footage available and Les has an excellent collection of films to come and show members, covering many years.
Nostalgia at its finest, a great night in prospect, relive the steam age on the silver screen, all very welcome to join us.
The date of the meeting is Wednesday, April 5, a week early than normal owing to Easter. We meet at St. Godwalds Church Hall, Aston Fields, this is near to the railway station. Doors open 7.15pm for a 7.45pm start. Book stall and refreshments available on the evening. For further details please contact Dave 01527 873800 or Gordon 01527 873609.
