SIDEMOOR resident Don Harvey cycled more than 300 miles to raise £1,079 for the County Air Ambulance. The 38-year-old said: "As long as you just rest for one good meal and have lots of drinks along the way you are fine." A cheque for the cash was handed over to Jenny Ashman, the area co-ordinator for the Air Ambulance earlier this month. Pub landlady Hazel Feeney said: "It was a great achievement. Our customers raise money all the year around for charity." Mr Harvey added: "My thanks go out to all who supported me."
