TOM Wareing is, of course, right - I should get out more. (Letters, March 15).
I was saying the same thing to some people here in Italy tonight and I can imagine me saying the same when I am in New York the week after next and in Paris a couple of weeks later.
Anyway, I have taken deep offence at Tom's comments regrding builders and there's no way he's getting an order from me to replace our rapidly dating outside privy.
As Tom would say, thinking people of all socio-economic, race, creed and other backgrounds should give careful thought and pause before considering that local councils enacting PFI and other ill-thought out so-called schemes beyond their competence and socialist do-gooders who act on the whim of President Blair beyond their ''natural Judao-Christian ceilings'' and spend so-called taxpayer's revenue and council tax on PFI and other ill-thought out so-called schemes without giving rise to the consequences of their actions in so-called secular-human democratic situations (contd page 94 )
