TALENTED members of a Redditch arts group hope they have enough X-Factor to survive the recent council cutbacks.
Indigo Arts Music Maker is holding an X-Factor-theme fundraising talent night at Rocklands Social Club in Headless Cross on Saturday.
Musicians and dancers from the group, as well as other talented townsfolk, will perform in front of a panel of tough-talking judges from 7.30pm and all are welcome.
As well as entertainment from home-grown talent there will be a DJ and a raffle.
Indigo Arts, based at Kingsley College, encourages young people to explore their creativity through music, dance and drama.
They were just one of the groups to feel the pinch when Redditch Council announced it's cash saving cutbacks earlier this year.
However, group spokeswoman Emma Hipkin said they intended to do all they could to keep going.
"No one from music maker would like to see the group close due to funding problems," she said.
"It would be such a waste of talent if we had to close due to lack of funding.
"The group like to entertain people and we can certainly do that."
Tickets for the Rookery Close fundraiser are £5 or £4 for those in fancy dress and they are available from Emma on 07766 010308.
