KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Mark Yates apologised to Kidderminster Harriers fans after a weekend mauling by Aldershot.
Harriers were hammerered 4-1 with all the visitors' goals in the first-half.
And Yates accepted responsibility for the nightmare show which still means Harriers have an outside chance of being dragged into a late relegation fight.
With a local Conference derby at Hereford United ahead on Saturday, the manager is looking for big improvements.
Yates said: "We were shocking -- there was no denying it.
"I am the manager and I have to put my hand up and take responsibility for this. I apologise to the fans and they can be sure I will be working damned hard to put things right."
