SIR - Mayor Aubrey Tarbuck's recent expressions of outrage at the state of the Shambles was swiftly followed by a sight I've never seen before - parking wardens, on a Sunday, ticketing shoals of parked cars on The Shambles. Sadly, like the bi-annual campaign by the Worcester News against litter, it was a one-off, a soundbite. The Shambles is a shambles again.
BOB JONES,
Worcester.
Hang on! The Worcester News has been campaigning constantly against litter and graffiti for years. At long last, thanks to the efforts of various bodies and concerned councillors, action is being taken - a crackdown on littering starts next month.
