SHANE Drahm became only the second player this season to move past the 200-point mark in the Guinness Premiership after his seven successful kicks against Wasps.
The Worcester fly-half's four conversions and three penalties take him to 202 points -- just six points behind Gloucester's Ludovic Mercier.
And he is also on the hottest run of any Premiership player, having slotted his last nine kicks.
Drahm has already caught the eye of national selectors and was due to earn his second England 'A' cap against Gloucester last night.
And he also earned praise from his director of rugby at Sixways, John Brain, after his faultless display against Wasps.
"I thought Shane played very, very well," said Brain. "He controlled the game well. He found touch virtually every time he wanted to, distributed the ball well and, for me, was quite deservedly man-of-the-match."
Drahm's haul included a magnificent 60-metre effort in the first-half, although Brain admits the wind made a big difference.
"I thought it was a 10-point wind," he said. "We had to be very, very wary of our discipline in the second-half because we just felt that Mark van Gisbergen would stroke over penalties from the half-way line with ease with that wind.
"It was a factor and the penalty try just before half-time was a crucial score as well."
Another who excelled against Wasps was scrum-half Andy Gomarsall and the former Gloucester man found himself on the plane to France two days later to provide cover for England's Matt Dawson.
The ailing British Lions star was declared fit just minutes before kick-off and Gomarsall was not needed as a replacement.
Thankfully, the 31-year-old suffered no ill effects and was in positive mood after his adventure.
He said: "Although I was not selected to be part of the Six Nations squad for this season, it is always an honour to be considered by your country and although I only went over as cover for Matt, it reflects well on the club that I was recognised and called in to help."
Another Warriors player to get an international call-up this week was Nicolas Le Roux, who has been named in the French sevens squad.
