COLWALL Players will be holding their annual fun quiz on Friday, March 24, at the village hall starting at 7.30pm. Refreshments and bar will be available. Book your team of four by ringing Trish Hockett on 564872 or just turn up on the night.

Two youth events have been organised by Colwall Parish Council. The first will be held on Saturday, March 25, at the village hall. This will be a DJ taster session, whereby youngsters will be able to learn the skills of a DJ. All equipment will be provided by a professional DJ who will pass on his skills by providing scratching, mixing MC-ing and beatbox tuition. Records will be available but individuals are encouraged to bring their own. There will be two sessions on the day,11.30am-1.30pm and 1.30-3.30pm. Both sessions are open to 11-16 year olds. Costs are currently anticipated to be £5 per head.

The second event will be a Dancefest, which will be held in the main hall at The Downs School. Two sessions will be held, 10-13year olds will be able to attend between 11am and 1pm and youngsters aged 14 years and over will be between 2-4pm. Again the cost will probably be £5 per head. Colwall School will be holding a Beetle Drive at the village hall on Friday, March 17.

Arts Alive at Colwall Village Hall present Curry Tales, written and presented by Rani Moorthy directed by Linda Marlowe. This will take place on Saturday, March 18. Doors open 7.30pm for 8pm start. There will be a coffee morning, bring and buy stall and Fair Trade shop, food, jewellery and really interesting children's gifts and clothing today (Friday) at The Gables, Old Church Road. This is in aid of the Malvern Development Education Centre.

Colwall Village Society will be holding the annual village spring clean on Saturday, March 24. Please meet at the Stone at 9.30am. Coffee afterwards at The Crown from 11.30am. Everyone is invited to go along and help to keep the village looking neat and tidy.
