MY elderly mother was walking along Worcester Road, Link Top (just before Albert Road North) on the afternoon of Friday, February 24, when she tripped, resulting in her sustaining fairly extensive grazes and bruises.
We would wish to record our thanks to the three good Samaritans who came to her rescue. Two gentlemen immediately rushed to her assistance and helped her back to her feet, having first checked her injuries were not too serious. A passing lady motorist then stopped her car and took my mother first to her doctors, and then home, coming back later to check on her well-being.
Such incidents renew ones faith in the humanity of mankind.
