MALVERN Joggers were in action locally and in northern England during last weekend's cold snap.
Seven Joggers competed in the Treat 8-mile multi terrain event in Stourport.
Simon Link (Stourbridge AC) was first home in a time of 50.32.
First of the Joggers in was Mark Cusack, whose time of 56.57 gave him 23rd spot of the 136 finishers. Next came Jerry Greer in 71st place with a time of 1.04.57. First of the Jogger's three women in the race was Sam Hammond in a time of 1.10.07 for 98th place.
Malvern's off-road specialists Matt Scriven and Stu Bellamy (Mercia Fell Runners) had good runs, in 9th and 11th, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Jogger's Jon Newey competed in two fell races in Lancashire and Yorkshire on consecutive days.
In the Half Tour of Pendle, a gruelling 9-miles with 2200ft of steep climbing, Newey managed to finish in 18th place of the 237 runners. His time of 1.13.42 was 9.35 slower than a flying Ian Holmes (Bingley Harriers) who won the race for the fourth time.
In the following day's Ian Roberts race near Holmfirth, the forecast snow finally arrived making the fells cold and treacherous.
York's Andy Hilton led the 68 runners round the 6-mile course in 51.01. Newey's time of 53.33 was good enough for 7th place.
