WORCESTER Warriors scr-um-half Matt Powell has received a late call-up to play for the Barbarians in their annual match at Leicester Tigers tonight (7.45pm).
Powell has been brought into the invitation club's starting XV as a replacement for crocked former All Black Justin Marshall.
The call-up comes after the 27-year-old missed out on a place in the Wales squad to face France.
Another Worcester player, US Eagles prop Mike MacDonald, is one of 15 new players in the Barbarians' 23-man squad.
Warriors fly-half Shane Drahm is playing in Gloucester tonight (7.45) for England 'A' against Ireland and the home players have been handed an incentive by England coach Andy Robinson.
"This match is very important for the future development of England players, giving them the ideal opportunity to demonstrate form and to fight for a place in the senior team," said Robinson.
