A HANDFUL of home teams couldn't manage a win between them in Aqu-aid Division One of the Stratford and District Alliance last Saturday.
In fact, only Earlswood managed to find the net and that only earned them a point from a 1-1 draw with Halfords Athletic.
Henley Forest and Badsey United fought a goalless draw but Bidford, Ilmington and Quinton all recorded successes on their travels.
Chris Rowberry, Jonathan Pick and Nick Burrows netted as Bidford won 3-0 at Badsey Rangers - a scoreline matched by the Revolution for whom Dan Hodgkins (2) and James Davies found the target at Broadway.
A solitary strike from Lukas Pavlik was sufficient to earn Quinto all three points at Alcester Lions.
Profitable
Simon Dixon's brace ensured away sides maintained their profitable afternoon in Herald Division Two as his goals helped his side to a 2-0 win at Studley.
However, the other two visiting sides in the section couldn't manage a goal between them as Henley Forest lost 3-0 at Cubbington and Littleton slumped 5-0 at Halfords.
Bidford completed a double as the Big Meadow side's second team defeated Welford B 4-0 thanks to goals from Shaun Read (2), Rob Yewer and Anthony Gould.
Elsewhere in Cutler Division Three, Welford's A team scored three times without reply at Inkberrow, while FISSC went one better in getting the better of Tysoe United.
Quinton and Red Alert shared four goals, while Blo-ckley won the game of the day at Ilmington where goals from Steve Cross, Andy Borton and Jamie Hurrell cancelled out home strikes from Brett Weatherhead and Bryan Wilkins.
The section's Knockout Cup first round tie at Badsey produced a dozen goals but it was the home side who were on the receiving end.
Rangers scored three times through Mike Gardner, Dan Milward and Mark Wicks but Henley Forest replied with nine goals with Liam Rey-nolds leading the way with a four-timer.
