WITNESSES are being asked to come forward after a 17-year-old male was found with injuries consistent with him being struck by a vehicle in Kidderminster on Saturday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a road collision that occurred in Gheluvelt Avenue after the injured youth was found at 6pm.

He was treated by paramedics and taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with head injuries and was discharged on Tuesday.

PC Jonathan Davies, of Kidderminster Police Station, said: "We are still trying to establish exactly what happened.

"This has been an upsetting and confusing time for the young man's family and I would hope that anyone who can help will be in touch."
