EXTENDED library opening hours in Kidderminster are being publicised in a bid to tempt more people through its doors.
A special leaflet has been sent to hundreds of lapsed library users throughout the Wyre Forest district telling them about the change in times.
It also reminds the service's existing users they can hire CDs and DVDs at the Market Street site.
The leaflets will also enable residents to hire a DVD or CD free, during certain times, until Saturday.
Opening hours at the library have been extended to 8pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and to 5.30pm on Saturdays. The library opens at 9.30am every day, apart from Sundays, when it is closed.
Helen Large, cultural services marketing manager, said: "People drift away from using their library for a variety of reasons but the main reason is always time.
"Now that libraries across the county are open even longer, those users who haven't visited for a while may find that the opening times now suit their lifestyles.
"There are now 6,000 extra hours across all our libraries each year and, with more than one million books, free internet access, loads of CDs and films and plenty of events, there's never been a better time to reacquaint yourself."
