MARK Owen twice put Malvern Town in front but they were pegged back to a 2-2 draw by fellow Midland Alliance title-chasers Romulus.
The ex-Worcester City striker scored on seven and 75 minutes but Seb Hamilton countered with a second-half double, including an equaliser six minutes from time.
Malvern are now five points ahead at the top with Romulus six behind in fourth with two games in hand.
Meanwhile, Westfields booked a Herefordshire FA County Senior Challenge Cup final against Hinton after beating Ewyas Harold 3-1 in the semis.
Danny Moon, Matt Beale and Mark Davis scored the goals with Matt Pitt replying.
Jamie Cuss (four) and Cory Hyde powered Pegasus Juniors to a 5-1 win over county rivals Ross Town in the GLS Supplementary Challenge Cup first round.
Pershore Town reached the Worcester Infirmary Cup final, defeating Bromsgrove Rovers Reserves 4-3.
In the West Midlands League Premier Division, Bewdley Town drew 1-1 at Great Wyrley and Wellington defeated Smethwick Rangers 4-1.
