STOURPORT Men's Firsts played out an entertaining 4-4 draw with second-placed Brooklands MU in the English Hockey League National North Division.

Imran Yousaf scored twice for Stourport, while Phil Lashford and Rob Allen were also on target.

The point leaves Stourport fifth in the 10-team division.

The Women's Firsts came out on top in their six-pointer at Cannock with a narrow 1-0 win over their closest Midland Conference League rivals. Stourport started brightly, but mid-way through the first-half Cannock began to get into the game.

The visitors came out strongly in the second-half and took the lead on 60 minutes.

Player-of-the-match Kerry Maughan passed to Melissa Kennedy who lifted the ball over the Cannock 'keeper.

The hosts pushed for the equaliser but were denied by in-form Isobel Rosie in goal.

The Wyre Forest side now need just five points to win promotion.

The Women's Seconds slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Bromsgrove in Worcestershire Division One.

Bromsgrove raced into a three-goal lead before half-time. The second-half wasn't much better for Stourport, although they did pull a goal back through Alex Totney.

The scoreline could have been worse for the visitors had 'keeper Sarah Cranton not saved a last-minute penalty flick.

A good first-half performance by Stourport Women's Thirds sealed all three points against Harborne Fourths in Worcestershire Division Two.

The 2-0 win came courtesy of Rosie Connolly and Cali Taylor goals.

The Women's Fourths were held at home to a 1-1 draw by Cresconians.

The visitors took the lead in the first-half, but Jess Trundle managed to grab an equaliser after the break.
