FOLLOWING the article "Go-ahead for homes plan" (Shuttle/Times and News, February 16), I wish to query a fact.
Some years ago, when the Old Anchor pub, Stourport, first closed, Thomas Vale applied to build homes on the site.
This application was turned down by the council and the reason given was that the Stourport sewer system was underneath the premises.
Perhaps we could hear from the district council, the reason for the change of policy.
